The Full Package

First, we evaluate your space and needs, including your utility services and their locations with relationship to your refrigerated warehouse project. If an office remodel or new construction is involved, we design that too in accordance with your needs and preferences.

We use door guards and curbing (if desired) that we designed and get specially made.

We plan out exactly where each refrigeration line will run and calculate the corresponding appropriate refrigeration line sizes.

In the case of a new build, we hire a civil engineer to provide a soils report so we can design your floor and building support. 

We calculate the number of lights and their wattage needed to light your refrigerated space according to the activity within. We procure these lights.

We submit to the appropriate building departments and fire departments to get approval.

Our employees install the structural support for your refrigerated warehouse.

We hire an experienced concrete subcontractor to pour any necessary concrete. Our on-site project manager oversees the pour.

Our employees receive and install the insulated panels that form the walls and ceiling of your refrigerated warehouse.

Our employees install the refrigerated warehouse doors and door guards, and wall protection / curbing (if any).

Our employees trim, caulk, and clean your panels to ensure that your warehouse looks professional.

Our employees do not consider the project "done" until everything has been tested and proved as functioning correctly.

Next, we come up with a schematic design with optimized facility flow and product storage according to how you intend to use the space. All our designs are also optimized for optimal cooling and air flow and are designed to work with your forklifts.

Next, we calculate the required cooling power needed for your facility and select Bally Refrigeration units that meet this load and provide energy efficiency.

We plan where the electrical to power your refrigeration warehouse will be run. We hire an electrical engineer to balance the loads, provide wire sizes, and stamp the design.

We design the insulated concrete slab construction for your freezer warehouse. We design the glycol floor heat system needed to heat your floor. For heat reclaim projects, we design the heat reclaim system.

We ensure that all of our designs meet building code.

We procure all materials and equipment needed to construct your warehouse.

We hire licensed and experienced electricians to install the necessary electrical systems to run your refrigerated warehouse and install its lights, according to our stamped design. Our on-site project manager oversees the work.

We hire licensed commercial refrigeration installers to install refrigeration pipe and start your refrigeration systems according to our design.

Our employees hang the evaporators and set the condensers for your refrigerated warehouse.

Our employees install the drain lines for every evaporator.

We hire licensed roofers to install your roofing construction (for outdoor refrigerated warehouses only).

We select door products that meet your facility's needs, budget, and the building code.

We locate the refrigeration units in your facility for optimal cooling, cheapest installation, and easiest maintenance.

We design the structural support for your refrigerated warehouse, pulling on our years of experience in a variety of construction types to give you the cheapest support that meets your needs and does not overload your building's roof. We hire a structural engineer to stamp our designs.

We design the roofing system, gutters, and downspouts if your refrigerated warehouse is an outdoor structure.

We use CAD to generate construction drawings (refrigeration, panel, architectural drawings) for your refrigerated warehouse.

We hire licensed commercial refrigeration installers to install refrigeration pipe and start your refrigeration systems according to our plans. Our on-site project manager oversees the work.

Our employees install the foam and glycol floor heat system for your freezer floor.

We hire racking installers to install any racking for your warehouse.

We hire licensed sprinkler installers to install any necessary sprinkler systems.

Our employees install monitoring and recording systems and control panels.

Our employees call for the necessary inspections.
